It’s About The Girls!… And We Here That The Breasts Are Pretty Good Too!

 Hooter’s Culture…. How it all began….

What’s shakin’.. I’m Boobie (Some call me Boob), a nickname I’ve had since birth (Really!).. As I wander this planet I make it a point to stop at every breastaurant I can or any place where hot girls are on the menu in a quest to fulfill my almost famous “Boobie’s World Tour..”

The idea for all of this came when I walked into the Hooter’s of Greensboro, NC for the first time.. I had seen the colorful exterior many times from interstate 40 and kept saying to myself, “One day I’m gonna stop in there..”

The first girl I met was a University of North Carolina student named Michelle.. As time would go on I would get to know many of the girls there and at the nearby Hooter’s of Winston-Salem..

To be sure, that wasn’t my first Hooter’s…. The first one was in Newnan, Ga.. But this was the first time that I had my camera in hand ready to document the occasion.. So here we are today and I’m still wandering the planet stalking Hooters and hot girls..

As the name implies, there’s a culture to this thing also known as Boobie’s World.. It’s my world.. Things I that I like and find interesting and worth sharing.. That’s what this is about..

A Hooters Girl is a waitress employed by the Hooters restaurant chain.. They are recognizable by their uniform of a white tank top with the Hooters owl logo and the location name on the front paired with the famously short orange runner’s shorts.

The legend is that the idea of the uniform came from one of the orginal owners who had a crush on one of his co-workers, who would go running at lunchtime in a white tank top and orange shorts.

About $5.45 for orange shorts

About $6 for the Hooters embellished tank top

About $3.25 for a pouch

About $2.50 for “suntan” pantyhose

About $2.25 for thick white scrunch socks

Hot Wings – About $9.99

Beer – About $2.99

Hooters Waitress with those shorty shorts and the luscious boobies pushing through the push up bra…. F*cking Priceless!!

As the legend goes, it was in Clearwater, Florida that the first owl-bedecked girls elbowed into the limelight in their radiant orange and white ensembles. From there, the succulent fruits of corporate labor gained popularity faster than the ones at the neighboring Tropicana. It’s even questionable these days as to whose oranges are the Sunshine State’s most conspicuous export!

To hear the name “Hooters” evokes an avalanche of opinions ranging from good, wholesome family fun to racy, stereotypical sex objects.

But whatever one’s own feelings are, it’s certainly not all about the girls…. Ok, it is all about the girls…. But there’s more to Hooters’ restaurants just like there’s more to this site than most people will allow themselves to get to know. There’s food, atmosphere and all the flavorful fun of a sports bar and a tropical vacation tightly twisted into one unforgettable experience.

There’s a cultural persona and a fierce fan following to the restaurants (in)famously known as “Delightfully Tacky, Yet Unrefined.” Ironically, just like this site.. So come inside, have a seat and enjoy the experience of a lifetime. Oh, BTW, it’s ok if you stare!!

The first Hooters opened on October 4, 1983, in Clearwater, Florida. The casual beach-theme establishments feature Oldies jukebox music, sports on the television, and a menu that includes seafood, sandwiches, salads and spicy chicken wings. The element of female sex appeal is prevalent in the restaurants and in the site, and the company believes (and so do I) that the Hooters Girl is as socially acceptable as a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader or Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.
